The Dungannon Development Commission, Inc. (or the DDC, as we are locally
known) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that was established in
1979 when a group of local citizens saw the need for an organization
to help the people in and around Dungannon with housing and everyday
needs for their families. Over the years the structure of the organization
has changed, but the vision remains the same today.
The volunteer Board of Directors of the DDC is nominated and elected
by the membership at an Annual Business Meeting and is the group that
oversees the daily operation of the business. They meet monthly with
the office staff to review all matters at hand and to keep account of
all the financial activity of the organization.
The board and staff are constantly searching for new and improved ways
to be more efficient with their efforts to assist the people of the
community in their lives.
