Mountain Treasures Festival
July 3rd 2010

Join us for a day of celebration and patriotism in the town of Dungannon, Virginia. The 28th Annual Mountain Treasures Festival is a fun, and affordable event that represents not only our heritage, but also a strong sense of community spirit. The Mountain Treasures Festival is Scott County’s largest Fourth of July celebration.
People of all ages, from all walks of life find pleasure and enjoyment in the day's activities. The day is filled with family fun events. The celebration will include a festive parade, amusements for children and adults, and entertainment that will delight everyone.

The 2010 Mountain Treasures Festival will be held on Saturday, July 3rd.
The traditional parade
will make its way down Main Street
on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11 a.m.
Parade Line up will start at 10 a.m.

Any
individual or organization
planning to set up a vendor booth must register by completing
an
registration application.
If you are a food vendor, you are required
to file a Temporary Restaurant Permit with the
Scott County Health Dept.
15 days prior to the festival.

Miss 4th of July
Theme Wear Pageant.
The Pageant will take place
at 1:00 p.m.
on July 3rd at the park behind the Depot.
The Pageant has six divisions. Participation gifts will be given
to contestants who do not place. Miss 4th of July will receive
a trophy, custom banner and a beautiful crown. 1st & 2nd runners
up will be awarded in each division. Those winners will receive
